On March 12 and 13, 2026, BEDEX (Brussels European Defence Exhibition & Conference) was held in Brussels – one of the most important events for the defence, aerospace and technology ecosystem in Europe. This year’s edition focuses on strengthening security, innovation and new cooperation strategies.

Several leading priorities for the development of the industry were outlined within the framework of the exhibition and the accompanying conference:
• Technological innovation in defence: New initiatives for the implementation of high-tech solutions and next-generation systems in the sector were discussed.
• Strategic partnerships: The emphasis was placed on the need for closer cooperation and integration between European institutions, technology leaders and private companies.
• Efficiency and reliability: The role of modern technologies as a key resource for ensuring security and addressing the contemporary challenges facing Europe was confirmed.

The event provided a platform for exchanging ideas with leading organizations in the field of defense and security, as well as an opportunity to establish new contacts and discuss potential collaborations. Mr. Kamen Iliev (Director of CNSDR-BAS) participated in the exhibition, who held meetings with industry representatives and partner organizations.
