Bulgaria's first hackathon of the European Earth Observation Program - "Copernicus"
Copernicus Hackathon Bulgaria is the first hackathon event of the European Earth Observation Program "Copernicus" in Bulgaria. The three-day Hackathon is planned to be held from 19th to 21st April on the territory of the Technical University of Sofia and the exact hall of the event is to be determined.
The main purpose of the event is to promote the potential and use of data and services of the European Earth Observation Program - "Copernicus". The hackathon will provide a unique opportunity to bring together developers, developers and professionals from different fields to develop new value-added products.
Together with other participants, with teams from 3 to 5 people, you will have access to: Copernicus data through the DIAS cloud service platform; mentor support; GitLab repository with useful tools and the opportunity to join a preparatory training session and compete for a range of attractive awards.
The awards, mentors and jury will be announced after opening the official hackathon registration.
The event is organized by the Aerospace Technology Transfer Office (RST-TTO), a joint venture which was created with the participation of the Institute of Space Research and Technology (IKIT) and the Center for National Security and Defense Research (ZINSO) at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
